I use this switch for my Rigid Light bar on snowmobile and the green LED only last about 2 months. Every year I replace the switch because its hard to see the switch in the dark when the LED is burned out.

LED light indicator is crazy bright. Should be dimmer as it's pretty blinding in your face when mounted on the handle bar as expected. Also, the switch is black on black and hard to find at night on your handle bar. Would be nice to have some kind of ghost light to reach for the the switch easily.

I purchased this to connect my Rigid E 20" bar to, I purchased this switch because I could mount it in my truck without drilling in to any of the plastic. It attaches to your desired surface using double sided tape. It works well as a switch and it seems to stick on to a textured plastic surface good so far. When the switch is pressed in the light does not turn on until you release the button after the click and is turned off when you press the button before it clicks. This allows you to flash your light very easily. A green light is displayed when the switch is in the on position.Now the downsides:Less than a day after installing this switch the green indicator light intermittently worked and then completely stopped working later in the day. This is unacceptable after paying almost $30 for the switch. The switch works for now but I am unsure of how long it will last after the indicator light immediately went out. Clearly, quality control is not very great for these switches from Rigid despite the high price. I would try a different switch before buying this one.

I originally paired this switch with a set of Rigid D2's on my BMW bike. Lights works flawlessly. I run them all the time to be as visible as possible. The first switch I ordered failed after less than two months. The switch itself continued to power the lights; however the LED indicator (The thing that reminds you to turn the lights off to keep from draining your battery and leaving you stranded) quit working. I contacted Rigid and they happily replaced the switch for me. I took the bike on a cross country trip and the switch failed again on the 15th and last day of the trip. I contacted Rigid a second time and they agreed to replace it again, but they seemed less eager to do so a second time. Also about the second switch, the internals were wired backwards from that the wiring diagram and instructions suggested. I spoke with Rigid about these issues and they insisted that problems were rare, but admitted that the switch was made for them by a third party. China would be my guess. The switch only has three legs and is easy to replace but I am tired of removing body panels on my bike to replace a switch which should last as long as my lights. I sure wish they would chose to make their switches in-house.

Works great! Comes with heavy duty 3m adhesive tape and handle bar mount. I didn't want to drill a hole in my dash board to mount the stock rigid switch, this switch gave me the option to install a quality switch that doesn't require drilling. I've had it on my truck for over a month in the freezing cold and the 3m adhesive tape is holding great. Green led is illuminated when on. Button is rubber push. Weather proof. Good product!
