I’ve been considering a mechanical keyboard for my work laptop for a while - something portable enough to take to the office but still enjoyable to use at home. After an unfortunate juice spill left my laptop keys sticky, I decided to make the switch and chose the Royal Kludge R75 after seeing the brand get a lot of positive reviews and recommendations online. I couldn’t be happier with my decision.This keyboard is an absolute joy to type on. The keys have a great sound and feel, and the hot-swappable switches are a fantastic bonus, giving me the freedom to customise later if I choose. The wireless and Bluetooth modes work seamlessly, and the battery life has been solid so far, lasting through a week so far without needing a charge (that's with the dongle being used at home and BT in the office with the RGB on a very low brightness)Despite being lightweight due to its plastic construction, the keyboard feels surprisingly robust and well-built. It’s easy to carry around, making it perfect for someone who works in multiple locations. The RGB lighting looks brilliant and can be customised to suit your preference, while the replaceable keycaps offer even more personalisation options.Overall, this is a fantastic keyboard that combines portability, performance, and customisability. Highly recommended - definitely a 5-star product offering superb value if you manage to get it on sale.

Mise en garde importante :Avant tout, attention à la pince 2-en-1 fournie avec le clavier. Le côté gauche, avec des dents espacées, est destiné à retirer les switchs, tandis que le côté droit (où l'on doit nous-même espacer les broches) doit être utilisé pour retirer les touches sans les abîmer. Malheureusement, j'ai utilisé le mauvais côté et ma belle touche “Win” est maintenant légèrement griffée. Bref, c'est de ma faute, mais ne faites pas la même erreur !EDIT: Même avec le bon côté de la pince, les touches s'abiment... faites attention.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Cela fait maintenant une semaine que j'utilise quotidiennement ce clavier, principalement pour de la programmation, et j'en suis globalement très satisfait.Les points positifs :Esthétique et Qualité :- Ce clavier ajoute une belle touche d’élégance à mon bureau :)- Les couleurs des touches sont magnifiques. La typo est sobre et élégante.- Le son des creamy switches est agréable et non dérangeant.- Le clavier est solide et son poids (environ 700 g) renforce cette impression de robustesse.- Le format 75 % est idéal pour mon usage.- Et surtout, le confort de frappe est là !Fonctionnalité :- Plug and play : reconnaissance immédiate sous Linux (ArchLinux avec KDE Plasma).- Le bouton de volume amovible est très pratique et fonctionnel dès la première utilisation.- La notice, traduite en français, est claire et bien rédigée.- Le tri-mode de connexion (filaire, dongle USB, bluetooth) est bien pratique. J'ai testé le mode filaire et via dongle, et les deux sont très stables.- L'autonomie de la batterie est très bonne : après une charge complète de quelques heures, il restait 60 % de batterie au bout de 4 jours.- La compatibilité avec QMK/VIA permet une personnalisation avancée.- Bien que je ne sois pas fan des LEDs, les options de personnalisation semblent variées pour ceux qui aiment configurer à leur guise.- Dans l’univers du clavier mécanique l’offre des modèles en disposition AZERTY est moindre. The quality is good, and the sound (almost tocky) isn’t bad either. I didn’t have any issues, except for a defective cable but the distributor resolved it quickly by refunding me for a new one.The only minor issue I’ve noticed (though it might not even be a real problem) is that when I turn off the backlight, the battery level (Fn + Enter) stops showing after the second or third attempt.Other than that, it’s a great product for the price.

Bin schon seit längerem auf der Suche nach einer mechanischen Tastatur um die 100 Euro, die folgenden Funktionen mitbringen sollte:- 75% ISO DE Format- Drehknopf- Hot Swappable- Gasket Mount- Guter SoftwaresupportIn der engeren Auswahl stand Akko 5075B Plus, Royal Kludge M75 und Keychron V1 Max. Alle drei Modelle haben ihre Vor- und Nachteile, so dass die Entscheidung relativ schwer viel. Bis ich dann eines Tages dieses neue Modell von RK entdeckte.Anders als die Beschreibung es vermuten lässt handelt es sich hierbei um die Pro Variante der R75. Der Unterschied ist, dass die Pro Variante nun sowohl BT, 2.4G Wireless als auch QMK/VIA unterstützt. Die Farbe hat mir auf anhieb gefallen und der Preis war deutlich unter den anderen drei von mir erwähnten, also bestellt und ausprobiert. Und ich muss sagen, mit ein paar kleinen Anpassungen erfüllt es nun alle Anforderungen die ich an eine gute Tastatur gestellt habe.Nun zu den Details:***Verarbeitung***Die Verarbeitung ist für den Preis solide. Die Tastatur ist relativ leicht (leichter als meine alte RK84), liegt aber stabil auf dem Tisch und wackelt nicht, und macht auch sonst keinen billigen Eindruck.Das ganze Gehäuse ist aus Plastik, was in diesem Preissegment normal ist und in Betracht des Klangs beim Tippen sogar eher als Vorteil angesehen werden kann.Die Keycaps sind doubleshot PBT im Cherry Profil und es ist sehr angenehm darauf zu tippen.***Switches***Im Auslieferungszustand sind Creamy Switches von RK selbst verbaut. Die Switches sind linear und vorgeschmiert. Das Tippgefühl war sehr angenehm und der Sound OK. Da ich aber eher taktile Switches gewohnt bin, habe ich sie gegen AKKO Lavender Purples ausgetauscht. Wegen der Hot Swap Funktionalität und dem mitgeliefertem Zubehör alles kein Problem. Habe noch O-Rings in die Keycaps getan und damit ist Feel und Sound für mich optimal.***RGB***Die Tastatur verfügt zwar über eine RGB-Beleuchtung, allerdings sind die LEDs unten angeordnet. Zusätzlich zum Umstand, dass die mitgelieferten Keycaps nicht durchscheinend sind, kommt meiner Meinung nach die Beleuchtung nicht so gut zur Geltung. Abhilfe kann man sich verschaffen, in dem man auf durchscheinende Keycaps wechselt. Ich habe bei mir Pudding Keycaps probiert. Farben sind OK, aber die Schrift ist im Dunkeln trotzdem schwer abzulesen. Auf RGB lege ich keinen besonderen Wert, wem aber eine gute Beleuchtung im Dunkeln wichtig ist, sollte sich lieber nach einer anderen Tastaturen umschauen.***Software***Beworben wird die Unterstützung von QKM/VIA, die Einrichtung hat sich aber als etwas umständlich erwiesen. Man braucht zunächst eine json File, die man sich von der englischen Produktseite runterladen kann. In dieser ist aber der falsche Produktcode hinterlegt, so dass man diese in einem Texteditor auf den richtigen Wert (0xe485) anpassen muss. Danach kann man die Tastatur problemlos mit der VIA App verbinden und frei nach seinen Wünschen konfigurieren.Zusammenfassend kann ich sagen, dass ich mit der R75 Pro mit den genannten Anpassungen (Switch-Wechsel, O-Rings) sehr sehr zufrieden bin. Weitere Modifizierungen, um den Sound noch weiter zu verbessern wie z.B. Stabilizer und Switches luben oder Schaum und Silikon im Gehäuse für die Dämmung sind heutzutage in dierser Preisklasse schon standard und ersparen Zeit und Arbeit. Der Sound ist wirklich klasse und die Funktionen sehr umfangreich. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
