Simply clip to dash or other location, plug into 12V lighter socket and set the variable speed control. The Variable Speed Control is located on the 12V plug end of the power cord. Note:The fan is connected to a mounting clip, the mounting clip cannot be taken off. The mounting clip can however be hard mounted. There are holes at the bottom of the mount.

This is my third one of these Roadpro Tornado fan that I have! I always have one in the house, one in the car and one in storage an extra for backup in case of power outages. In power outage situations I plug it in my solar generator and clip the fan on the handle of the generator! These fans give you a whole lot of bang for the wattage buck! This compact fan moves as much air as a 12" standing floor fan for MUCH LESS power usage. Yes, is it a bit loud when cranked all the way up but when you need to cool off in 100+ degrees, I'm NOT going to be a whiny little baby about it as long as it cools me down and keeps me cool. It's not that noisy from mid setting on down which is where I keep it set on and that is plenty of air. The seller shipped very fast and again, I am VERY happy with this purchase! I may even get another one for the car as a backup. The original and oldest one I have is still going strong for 8 years now with almost daily use! Excellent Quality!

Been a CDL truck driver for 10+ years and most of the trucks don’t have AC so it’s like driving a toaster in the summer. This is the best fan I’ve found to help beat the toaster like heat in the cab. On hot days it’s a must. This is my second one, first one lasted over 5 summers. It kind of sounds like a blow dryer when it’s on but the engine and the radio tune that out. Overall I highly recommend it.

Me pareció un muy buen producto para mis requerimientos (ventilar el asiento de mi bebé), cuenta con control de velocidad, un clip con buen agarre, un brazo artículado que permite apuntar a casi cualquier dirección, cable con suficiente alcance para ocultar entre los asientos, pero, a los 10 días de la compra simplemente no funcionó más.

Bigger than expected, about the size wide can of soup. The clamp is strong and substantial so no worries about it falling off. The kicker is how freakin powerful it is. It blows some major air. We do not have rear A/C and this does an excellent job of circulating the air to the rear seats to cool the car faster. It is loud on the highest setting, but you shouldn't need to leave it on high for long if your using it for circulation. Love that the switch is at the plug, so we don't have to reach for the fan. Also the fan speeds are adjustable via a potentiometer type dial, instead of a 3 speed switch, so you can find the perfect speed.

Been using on and off for a week now. The fan works great! I don't have A/C in my vehicle; this fan makes driving in a hot vehicle more bearable! This would be good in a RV too. Very happy with the price and product overall.
