Thick, sturdy material. Stays in place with the wind. I placed something underneath so the rainwater doesn't pool.

I made a mistake in size and it is little bigger but I kept this. It is made of good material and seems strong. There were few rainy days and check the firepit was dry. I will see how it stand the winter but it looks good and if you are buying it make sure you measure your firepit before ordering.
