I don't own a gun, but I do shoot recurve (Olympic-style) bows, so when I saw this bag I thought it would be a good way to transport my equipment. While I'm still in the process of transferring things over, early impressions are very good, especially with both the build quality and variety of storage options. The bag is made of a thick, durable fabric and stays closed via heavy duty zippers. There are also a couple of large, well made buckle snaps that ensure the bag will stay closed even if you forget to do up the zippers all the way. Inside the bag are two compartments, separated by a thin divider. The edges of each compartment has a strip of padding as well as a couple of Velcro straps that can be used to secure the contents and prevent them from shifting around. The outside of the bag has a ton of pockets and storage features. Each end has a series of sewn-down elastic strips, so you can insert items which will stay in place. There is also a main pocket storage compartment which has a series of pouches and zippered pockets. Finally, there are three good-sized outer pouches which are secured with both Velcro and buckle snaps. These also feature elastic bands which will help squeeze - and therefore contain - anything you put in them while also keeping the profile of the back as small as possible when they aren't full. One of the main features that attracted me to this bag is the backpack straps, which makes this much easier to transport on and off the field. The straps, like the rest of the bag, are well made with sturdy components and double stitching which means they should hold up to lots of use.Overall, a very well made bag that allows for tons of storage options. Since I don't own a gun I'm not sure how well the pockets and storage configurations work.

This is a very versatile and well made gun case. The zippers are all very high quality and heavy zippers that slide effortlessly. The outside pockets are velcro closed with adjustable buckle straps that hold your contents secured. On the inside there is a nice thick, high density foam protector divider that is also removable and it is held in place with a full length velcro connection. The outside panels of the case are also well padded with velcro straps to hold the firearm in place along with triangular pockets to help hold the butt stock and barrel in place. All along the full length zipper is an additional foam pad that wraps along the total edge of the zipper area adding protection to the enclosed firearm. On the one outside panel there are three expandable velcro closure pockets with a buckle strap along with a very large zippered expandable pocket, smaller zippered pockets and Molle attachment straps. The other pane side has two fullu adjustable shoulder straps for trekking along with a carry handle along the top of the zippered area.I have other cases and hard cases but this is is absolutely perfect for carrying multiple firearms and whatever supplies you require for target shooting or hunting. This is such a well made case I also ordered the long case and may end up purchasing the 42" one as well. These are just that good. Perfect for tactical or hunting or target shooting. Two thumbs up in my view.

I got the 36" soft case as well as the 42" soft case to bring a couple rifles to the range and back as I prefer to pack smaller and lighter going to the range and dont like bringing the big clunky hard cases with me, and this was the perfect alternative to that.I have some custom made, special to me rifles that I treat like my children, so the quality of the bag and the protection on the inside is of the utmost importance, and boy did they do an AWESOME job.Firstly, it does mention the 36" soft case it holds up to 34 inch rifles comfortably, and the 42" case will hold up to 40" rifles comfortable, and I agree with that, 35" in the 36" case or 41" in the 42" case would jam into the corner of the bag and could case unnecessary wear and tear. The quality is excellent, the fabric is nice and thick, the padding inside is pretty darn good and the "removable compartment" inside keeps the rifles from rubbing onto each other. The zippers are heavy duty and glide pretty well, the handle straps look like they have extra stitching, even the backpack straps are heavy duty feeling and I have no problem throwing it on my back, strapping the front strap up and hiking into the bush or the range. The outside pockets I just use for my kestrel or ammo, however using it for ammo can be limiting depending on how many rounds you bring, but the pockets have a buckle to strap into so you'll never lose whatever you put into it.Seriously, for the quality that I got, these are comparable to the double rifle soft cases Id find at Cabellas for 2x the cost.
