Found the leak inside the cabin. Coming from the third brake light on the roof. Original gasket had collapsed and cracked. This new gasket worked just fine, it has self-adhesive on it as well.

This seal worked on my 2008 Sport Trac cargo light. The last rain I experienced zero leaks into the back seat. Easy to install and seems to adhere well. How long it will last I have no idea, but so far so good. Side note, the screws that hold the cargo light in place thread into a metal clip. This clip isn't secure and will move around. When I put the light back the screw caught the side of one of those clips, seeming to tighten. However, after driving it worked loose and the first rain let A LOT of water into my back seat. After securing the screw properly I've had no leak issues. It wasn't the fault of the gasket. Just chalk it up to a "don't let this happen to you" moment.

I replaced my washer on my third head light on my Ford F1)0 4x4. I had water coming in my truck from the roof top when it rained. I replaced the rubber washer and have no more leaks. 120% satisfaction.

After discovering a leak at my 3rd brake light Ford told my they did not sell a replacement gasket. They told me they did sell a complete light assembly with a gasket for $165.00. Big thanks to you guys for saving me money.

Good quality, perfect fit, and an easy install for my 2005 Mazda B2300 Regular Cab. Took about 15 minutes.Unscrew two Philips head screws to remove the third brake light, unclip the wiring connector, scrape off the decayed old gasket with a flat head screwdriver, use some Q-tips with De-Solv-it to clean off any sticky residue, follow up with some Q-tips with glass cleaner to leave a clean surface, carefully/slowly install the new gasket (I peeled off about 1/3 of the backing paper at a time; careful not to stretch the gasket as you stick it down, and don't let the outer edges of the gasket go beyond the outer edges of the light's black plastic trim), use some glass cleaner or the included alcohol wipes to wipe down the truck's paint around the light hole, reconnect the wiring connector, screw the light back in, and you're done! There's even a second one in the box in case you bork the first one, but more likely you can just save it to replace the gasket again years down the road. Probably store it indoors so it doesn't dry out over time, and don't forget where you put it!

I purchased this gasket for my 2010 F150 XLT. I was noticing water stains in the headliner above the passenger side rear door. It did not seem to be in a spot where it was leaking at the middle brake light assembly, but after some investigating on You Tube I found it was likely the culprit. Apparently the water runs along the underside of the roof to the lowest spot which is on either side of the rear cab.I replaced the gasket and sure enough the leaking stopped. The gasket came in a two pack, but I only used one and it seemed to work fine. I just removed the two screws, cleaned the area where the gasket goes (with the provided cleaning pad), stuck the new gasket in place and replaced the assembly. Only wish I had bought some new bulbs to replace them while I had the light out. I would recommend doing that if you are replacing this gasket anyway.Definitely a good quality gasket for a very reasonable price. And, in my case, I have a spare, plus some extra gasket making material which might come in handy.
