Why My Bird Need Toys?
Toys should be plentiful and alternated. Toys are what will occupy the bird through the largest part of the day while the owners are gone. Check the toys daily for damage. Rotating the toys every several days to a week will help keep the bird interested in the toys. A bored bird is at high risk for behavioral and health problems. Finding toys that are favorites will entail trial and error. Try a wide variety as long as they are safe. Locate the toys where they are easily accessible to the bird, e.g., at the end of perches. Foraging toys require birds to work for their food, giving much-needed mental stimulation, and providing a way of feeding that more closely resembles what the bird would do in the wild.

How Should I Place The Perch?

Perches should be placed so the bird's tail will not touch the side of the cage when the bird is sitting on the perch. Avoid placing perches directly over food and water dishes.

I'm SO THRILLED!! I wanted a bigger/ longer sand perch that could comfortably fit all 3 of my parakeets, so that my older 2 could bond better with the new bird. I was afraid it might be too small, but the dimensions looked right, and it's turned out fabulous!!! I am so happy I came across this listing when I was searching.UPDATE: Perfect for 4 parakeets!! This has been the favorite hangout spot in my birds cage ever since I put it in, a few weeks ago. So when I got a 4th parakeet, I arranged the temporary cage right in front of this perch, so they could all hang out together, and it worked great. When I did add the new bird into the big cage, they bond happily sitting on this. I really can't recommend this enough. Best perch ever for multiple birds!!

We bought it so it can trim our parrots nails but overall it's not good for birds . They digest it and it causes alot of problems. We had to go to a bird specialist vet because this stuff irritated his throat and hurt his stomach which also caused digestive issues. Expensive bill to say the least. And glad our cockatiel is okay.

My conure likes this perch near his food dish. Rugged surface that is safe for the birds to chew on. Overall recommend!
