Took a chance with this one, but I'm very happy I did. The sound is good enough to jam and practice and learn on. I've had no issues with shipping or the construction. It is a lightweight model, but not bad at all.

Finally received the bass guitar and it looks and feels great. I was a "JAZZ" bass guitar user for years and was worried about the neck but was really surprised by how it feels. It has normal stuff wrong like frets being sharp but easily fixed, overall, I am truly pleased!!!

LONG REVIEW ALERT đ¨Got this for my nine year old daughterâs first lessons. The (photoshopped?) image made it seem like this could be a âshort scaleâ bass but jokes on me , itâs a full size 34â scale Precision(ish) Bass copy.Ah well. I shoulda researched it better and sheâll grow into it hah!Pros:- Black/Blue colour actually quite nice looking.- INSANE that you can a real bass for this price thatâs not a plastic toy, but itâs built to a low low rock-bottom price point so you gotta keep expectations just as low- decent emulation of that classic P-bass sound- Comes with accessories ⌠though the strap is painfully (literally) cheap and gig bag is very thin material with no padding. Good for storage not super great for carrying around- Headstock kinda looks like a Fender if you squint- quite lightweight - easy to play for long hours- truss rod, tuning pegs, electrics, bridge & saddles ⌠everything works like theyâre supposed to. (Which is a good thing, as you will definitely need to do a proper setup)Cons:Craftsmanship Iâd say is a 4 out of 10. I actually had quite a bit of fun fixing the flaws and tidying it up, but my idea of fun might not match yours ;) There wasâŚ- one jagged frayed edge of the pickguard, plus a gap where the guard meets the neck. Removed the guard and sanded it smooth as best I could.- hole for a dot inlay on the fretboard was drilled too large so there a gap next to the dot. A dab of dark wood-filler is next on my list.- glue overspill along the edge of the fretboard where it met the neck. (Enough to obscure the 12-fret double-dots on the neck!) 10 minutes with some really fine sandpaper and wood oil fixed thatSetup:- neck arrived dead straight, no curve at all, so a handful of the low fret positions wouldnât play. Truss rod adjustments have made a world of difference.- strings are not great, replaced them right away- intonation was easy to dial in once the neck settled in to a nice playable curve and I adjusted the saddles. (With a supplied hex key that was somehow curved ⌠how does that even happen!?)Overall, it may sound like Iâm regretting this purchase but to honest itâs been tons of fun whipping it into decent shape and now she enjoys playing it and I get get kick rocking and funking out with that classic thump. So Iâm kinda torn. Yes it was kind of a basket case at first but with some fixing up you can have so much fun with it ⌠until it breaks in three years đAlright Iâm gonna stop typing now. Have a good one .. and keep practicing.

Once tuned, it played great straight out of the box. Was fully setup and dressed. No fret buzz or sharp frets. Beautiful finish. Came with everything as advertised. It did have an initial chemical smell but, nothing that was a deal breaker.

I have to say this is well worth the money.I play guitar and just need a bass for doing demo's in my home studio.I didn't want to spend a lot.I expected the action to be terrible and that it wouldn't stay in tune.It plays great right out of the box. No fret buzz anywhere and it stays in tune perfectly.Well worth the money. It's a bit shorter scale than a full size P bass so I find I need to boost the bass frequencies for recording just a bit to get the same rumble as my old broken bass that I replaced with this. But all in all a good sound.

Received this just a few days ago and have been on it everyday since. I record and make music, but wanted something other than samples to do so to add my own artistic creativeness. It is a really nice guitar, the weight is decent, but I may be getting new strings for them; have been looking at a couple of Ernie Ball sets. All in all if you're looking for a beginner bass guitar definitely a good buy for the price, but may want to upgrade something (pickups ,strings, etc.)

It just arrived. Neck is straight with well dressed frets. Because of the temperature of the instrument, I will not be setting it up or trying it out until tomorrow. Quality seems good. Finish is beautiful. So, this bass has everything it needs. It set up easily. There were no neck issues. I did upgrade the bridge/tailpiece assembly to give a bit more stability and add more sustain. This was a personal choice. With thr weakened grip in my left hand, I also had to upgrade the tuners. I went with a set of $16.99 Kaish tuners, which Amazon also carries. Since I set this bass up, I have done several other uprades, and it is now my go to bass. Great action. Great player.
