I explicitly bought this because it was listed as a DC adapter. It’s an AC adaptor. Silly me trusting the description. If you zoom into the picture it even says AC.

I gave it 4 stars since the output is closer to 8.8vdc @ .8 A than the 9v @ .85 A specified. Ok for my application however. Only a small amount of ripple and noise. Good for the price.
