If the holes are too big for your seeds, you must put put planting paper on grid sprout tray to prevent seeds leakage.
When adding water, the water should not exceed the grid plate, otherwise the beans will be corrupted.
Please do not put too many seeds on the plate to avoid they overlap and become moldy.

The Seed Sprouter Trays are fantastic for soil-free cultivation. Made from durable food-grade plastic, they are easy to clean and rust-free. The greenhouse-effect clear covers keep the environment humid while allowing ample light for growth. Last week, I used them to sprout mung beans, and they were ready in just four days.The included planting papers help prevent small seeds from slipping through the grid holes, ensuring efficient sprouting. I ordered the 5 kit seed sprouter trays that are supposed to come with lids and sprouting paper, but instead, I received a pack of 10 sprouting trays with no lids and no sprouting paper. You will NOT get what you order with this product. The sprouting trays are made from plastic and I grow my lovely pea sprouts from these trays. The lids are a really important part of the germination process because my pea seeds tend to dry out easily and if they dry out then they won't sprout. The whole point of getting these trays are for the trays to come with lids and because they didn't come with lids, I am really disappointed. I would not recommend ordering these trays because you don't know what you'll get or receive what you order.
