I used these backing plates to supplement the 6" plates that came with my DA buffer. They screwed right in and perform well. They're not the best I've ever used but a good value.

This was exactly what i was looking for. Fit my pads perfectly and had a very secure hold. Did my car the other day and made the job easy. I had a smaller back plate that came with my Griot's DA Polisher and the difference is night and day. The increased size made a huge difference.
