I replaced the standard non pop-up cleats in my Four Winns. A bunch of drilliing and filing and in they went - measure twice; drill and cut once and go easy with the drill bit to avoid gelcoat spider cracks! A nice addition to the boat so I don't have to worry about catching water toy rope anymore. In addition to dock use, I also use these to anchor the boat and they worked well. I was somewhat worried that the gelcoat might crack with pressure from the cleats but that hasn't happened. The pullup/pushdown action is fairly smooth but I did have to file a bit of flash on one of the slides to make one of them smoother - no big deal. I'm a happy boater! I'll order more the replace the rest of the cleats.
