This photo is my order of Fishooks, 6” pot, 2 mos. after re-potting in a 12” planter. They took over! The 6” pot was thick, healthy and beautiful. I knew they’d fill my planter in no time. Shop Succulents never lets me down 🌱

Good: the actual plant was in good/salvageable shape.Bad: when I pulled it out of the box, it looked like someone had literally just thrown soil & the plant in a pot. It was side ways, upside down, half of the stems were broken off, and a large portion of leaves had fallen off (I was able to save those for propagation). Overall would recommend, but just know you will need to repot and likely give lots of TLC upon unboxing.

I never write reviews but had to be the first to review this great seller! I was a bit apprehensive about buying from a seller with no reviews but i'm so glad i to the chance. My plant arrived 2 days after i ordered it and was packed perfectly. I was even wearing a little plant hairnet which made me lol. The plant itself is full, healthy and beautiful. When looking around online i saw BS ads for "5-10 cuttings"of this plant for the same price or more. This plant was worth every penny. Love it so much i'm buying another.UPDATE: When I received this first plant I was so impressed with it that I wrote a hasty review and immediately purchased 2 more plants. A string of fishhooks and another bananas. When the fishhooks came it was even more impressive than the first plant so I bought a second fishhooks as well. This one was the best of all. A full beautiful plant with strings over 2’. I was obsessed with these plants. Unfortunately around two weeks later my first plant took a sudden turn. It was a complete 180. It went from full and healthy looking to wilted and mushy over night. I’m not an expert, but I have some experience with house plants and have never seen one take such a dramatic turn. Nothing I did helped so I salvaged what cuttings I thought I might be able to propagate, discarded the rest and ordered a replacement, chalking it up to inexperience with this particular plant. The other plants seemed to be doing well until the second one I bought, the first fishhooks, took the same turn, again around the 2 week mark. These are supposed to be easy care plants. Provide them ample light and don’t overwater and they should be happy. I was at a loss. This time I went to examine the root system only to discover there wasn’t one. What should’ve been a root ball crumbled in my hand. This was because it was not a single established plant, as it appeared to be, or even a couple, but a bunch of barely rooted cuttings cobbled together to look like one plant. I won’t lie, the presentation is impressive. The plants were stunning upon arrival but unfortunately that didn’t last. It broke my heart to watch these plants I fell in love with wither and die so quickly. I immediately checked the roots of the second fishhooks, and while it didn’t fall apart like the other, what little roots there were were VERY thin and not nearly what you would expect to find on a plant with this kind of growth. I’m hoping against hope that it survives but I’m not optimistic. As for the others, I suspect that these plants were heavily watered before shipping and it was too much for the tiny roots and the “plant” drowned. It really is a shame cause they were so beautiful when they arrived.UPDATE: The other bananas and fishhooks i bought seem to be doing well. Hopefully the first two first 2 that didn't make it were just lemons. The newer ones have better root systems. just make sure to check the soil when they arrive. The bananas i got to replace the first was quite wet when it arrived. would wait a few days before watering.
