I got this based on good reviews and it works and is pretty comfortable so no complaints. Haven't had it slip off and really doesn't dampen the sound of the violin as much as I thought it would. Is it worth the extra coin compared to cheaper alternatives? I can't say as this is my first shoulder rest.

Por años buscando un cojín apropiado y cómodo hasta que adquirí este Kun. Yo tuve que comprar tornillos extra largos adicionales para el cojín debido a mi cuello. Me encantaría probar otros cojines de la marca.

The only shoulder rest I brand that have ever used. I have a number of violins and have a KUN rest for each one. They are well made and last for years.With that being said though, I do have to made a modification by adding additional length to the leg that rests on my chest -(even longer than the long leg that you can buy from Kun). I accomplish this by making a one inch coupling out of 1/4 inch aluminum round stock; drilling and tapping said coupling for a 8/32 machine screw. I can then add a long enough piece of 3/32 machine screw to the assembly to suit my needs. I also hide the modification by enshrouding the leg in "heat shrink" - making the entire assembly look quite professional. Maybe is should patent the idea.

J'ai acheté une autre épaulière avant celle ci mais j'ai vite compris que j'avais perdu 10 €... Celle ci est chère mais la mousse est plus confortable et plus épaisse (de meilleure qualité en fait), les pieds sont bien plus réglables et elle est inclinable horizontalement.C'est le must.

I love this shoulder rest. I have longstanding neck and shoulder pains, but now with this Kun I can fiddle away pain free.
