I had a lot of problems with shoulder rest because I am a small person and don't have a large shoulder, so most of those that I tried were resting on the tip of my shoulder, rather than on my collarbone. This one is easier to set as it can rotate and then rest closer to my collarbone. My only grip is that once rotated at the correct angle and position, it does not necessarily stay that way, it can move back to another position. I plan on gluing it with epoxy resin to fit it permanently where I want it, at the maximum angle of rotation.

It is advertised to fit 1/2 size violin, but it's too big. The box says 4/4-3/4 and same on the rest. We cannot use it. I will see if I can return it

Just barely fits a children's violin and would fall off if they moved too much. Not too impressed but not many options with prime available for small sizes.
