STEP 1:
Gently shake the toner cartridge to evenly distribute the toner inside the cartridge and carefully remove the protective orange cap
STEP 2:
Put the toner cartridge into the drum unit. The green lock lever should then lift automatically
STEP 3:
Gently slide the tab in the drum unit back and forth several times to clean the corona wire, then return tab to its original position
STEP 4:
Install the new toner cartridge and drum unit assembly

Got a bad cartridge but after a few minutes on the live chat they sent me a new set and they came fast and work like the original

I use my laser printer to print notebook pages for my business. I was honestly very surprised that it was the advertised 3000 (3065, to be precise), which lasted me one month. It definitely starts to lighten by a good bit as the drum empties, but it goes pretty far (in image, L is brand new, R is the last page it printed before it completely emptied). My first cartridge worked great, my second one started printing "dirty" pages but their customer service responded to me right away and I got 2 replacement drums for free.It definitely does not have the reliability and toner evenness of original drums as it starts to empty, but for $20 a pop and stellar customer service it's really hard to argue. If you have any issues just follow the website on the booklet inside. With how often I have to buy these (once a month!) these are definitely my pick. I will continue to repurchase this brand.

The powder leaks and ruins the printing. Destroyed my new printer, can't seem to get the powder out of all the fine spaces and it's effecting the printing quite badly. Tried cleaning all the components but has made no difference.Spend a few dollars extra and save your expensive printer!

Smart Ink is definitely a cheaper alternative to Brother toner cartridges. The ink is high quality, and the microchip is compatible with my Brother printer. I'm satisfied with my purchase and would buy from Smark Ink again.

Printing is fine. One of the packages had leaked toner in shipping. Vendor sent new replacements pronto without hesitation.

This is the first time that I am using this particular brand of toner. I am very pleased with the quality of printing that it puts out. I find better than the other generic replacement toners that I have used in the past.

Purchased a pkg of 2. First toner had shadows down the page. Contacted Smart Ink by chat. Rep suggested installing the 2nd toner. After 2 copies, page was clear. Smart Ink replaced both toners for free. Don't know how long they will last as first time purchasing this brand.
