When I installed the color cartridges, my blue became green. I contacted SmartInk support using the QR code on the cartridge. Alyssa and Alex were great to work with. Alyssa is shipping replacement cartridges I should have this week. Great service with no hasssle!

Printer keeps saying it’s not compatible because the cartridges don’t have HP chips, every option given provided on the instructions isn’t working and the stupid things squeak when the printer is starts initalizing.

i purchased the toners in March and first went to install them in my printer today. Unfortunately something is wrong with the chips and the toners are not syncing with the printer. i wanted to return the items but the return date is past. i tried calling the customer service number and was told that all representatives were in Ukraine.How can i get this matter rectified? Had no problems with 1st set I bought a year ago. The set I just bought in May did not work. Kept getting low toner and no printer found. Contacted support and Valerie was so quick to send replacements. I will know in a couple of days if they work! Great customer support!UPDATE: Received the replacement cartridges and everything is working fine now. Again, great support. I will be purchasing my cartridges here from now on!

GOOD NEWS: Smart Ink sells HP-compatible toner cartridges at a great price. Their toner quality seems identical to the original HP toners that came with the printer.BAD NEWS: After a few weeks of use, the Smart Ink toners failed to be recognized by my HP printer, likely after to an automatic update of HP-printer firmware.GOOD NEWS AGAIN: A call to Smart Ink Support was immediately answered, and guidance kindly given. As advised, I then complied a couple pieces of needed information including proof of purchase and emailed all to Smart Ink. Seemingly within minutes, I received an email response with mention that new toner cartridges were in express mail.BEST NEWS: Smart Ink seems a good company with a mission to supply high quality toners that are HP-compatible and far less expensive than HP-toners.Given that HP would rather they be sole supplier of toner cartridges, I am not surprised that companies like Smart Ink encounter incompatibility issues at times of HP-printer firmware upgrades. Smart Ink seems accepting of this problem, is VERY RESPONSIVE and understanding. New HP-compatible toner cartridges are in the mail that should be compatible with latest HP-printer firmware.
