The light isn't that bright, but it's soft enough. I'm also very satisfied with the structure, which makes it easy to remove the battery.

I ordered first package (4 lights), but one of them doesn't work. So, I ordered 2nd package for the replacement (replace the bad one, and return the 2nd package). After I replaced the bad one from the 2nd package, I realized that the 1st package lights are less bright than the replacement (from the 2nd package). Maybe the lights in the first package was sitting in the warehouse for a long time.

These caps were a good price, easy to install, are definitely bright and last well. I did purchase some other AA rechargeable batteries with a higher capacity because it was affordable to add 1000mAH more capacity to ensure the batteries would be strong all night, especially as the days get shorter heading into fall and winter. I will also periodically remove the batteries and fully recharge them when the hours of sun each day go down for those months.

This might not be suitable for low sun conditions. Was great when purchased in summer but photo at about 11:30 PM and none of my lights are working.

Lights are lovely and bright. Easy installation except for one issue. They are made to fit different size posts. My deck posts are 4x4 and lights are designed for installation on 4x4 posts, but deck posts are tapered on the edges so both screws provided won't both go into post, however a slight modification to light base, and voila! Perfect fit. Filed space in base with piece of masonite cut to 3.5x3.5 inches. Works perfectly. Not a big deal. Overall very pleased with purchase.

Works well, easy to install, lights bright…will see how they do through the winter. At this point I would purchase again.
