This touch up paint worked perfectly on my Tesla. The color matched exactly, and it was easy to apply with the pen. It covered small scratches and chips nicely, and my car looks like new again. Very handy to have for quick fixes!

This touchup paint is a great match for the Tesla owner who has gotten a few dings or scratches on their car. The color matches perfectly and it’s easy to put on.

Color match was perfect! My only mistake was thinking it was a “pen” it’s actually a brush, like nail polish. I put it on a little too thick at first. I think you have to treat it like nail polish and apply thin, multiple coats. I used it to cover 5 chips that were made when my trunk hit the top of my garage door. It doesn’t look perfect, but it’s no longer a big white chip. I think if I had done a better job of application it would have been great.

When I got this touch-up pen, I was surprised that it included some extras like masking tape, a couple of 1.5" x 3.5" pieces of wet-sanding paper (too small except for the tiniest of chips, in my opinion) and a couple of very thin plastic gloves. The sandpaper pieces were 800 grit (there was a mark on the back) and another that was even finer (1000? 1200?).Since they went to the trouble of all this, I felt the instructions were lacking. None are included with the product and the photographs shown in the product description are just photoshopped sales pictures. If you apply this stuff incorrectly, you can end up with a bigger mess than the original scratch. Hint: there are some YouTube videos out there that go over the process, including the correct use of the sandpaper as well as other materials you may need to do an almost-professional job.

I tested this paint pen on my front bumper so that if it looked bad you wouldn’t be able to tell because it already looks bad lol, and it did an ok job. For the front bumper it’s not super obvious anyways but i can tell where it’s slightly different from the manufacturer. It is good for having something on there if you are not intending on having a professional paint job or just have a really tiny spot to fill but otherwise I would not use this on large areas as it might be noticible
