The learning curve for the first shelf is high. You need to chisel open each slit so that the lip easily slides in place. You will need a mallet for sure. I recommend marking the slits you will use so you can do them all at once, it will go so much faster. The second shelf only took me 40 mins. I wouldnt stack heavy things on the upper half, but the bottom levels seem sturdy enough. I didnt use all the shelves. Not the worst product for the price.

Get what you pay for . Seems flimsy but once it’s constructed gets solid

This unit was time consuming to build. However once built, very strong. Nice size 6ft tall. If I ever reach a point where I no longer need it, it will not be worn out. Sturdy, will last forever. As a storage, garage or multi purpose, highly recommended.

The shelves are little hard to put together (the second one was done much faster, overall did it myself with no help in 2 hours). After you put the shelves together it feels much more sturdier. That being said, I will be using this to store lighter items and all, but I would not use it for storing very heavy items (large winter tires and so one). At this price, I would buy again.

I must say overall, I’m pretty savvy and putting stuff together, but let me tell you upfront this thing as a headache.Once you look at the legs that have the female slotted part, you have to pry open so as the males can line up then using a rubber mallet to tap them in place. To do that on all of them is a headache, no wonder they give you gloves. If these units were sold separately, and after putting one together, I’d return the other.Sure the price is low. I should’ve realized that they seem pretty sturdy but at the same time the beans are flimsy. Thank God, enough crossbeams , I don’t know how much load it’s actually gonna hold.Bottom line is I can’t recommend this product I should’ve known and spent more bucks on something more sturdier and simpler. Make sure you get your Band-Aids out.

I am pleased I was able to put these together myself as a 63 year old lady. It did take a little care to ensure the tabs slide through the slots. Once I got the first slots through it came together rather simply. It is very sturdy and I am extremely pleased with the units.

I'm skeptical of any positive reviews here as the materials used are the lowest possible qualityGood example of "you get what you pay for"Assembly is difficult, and even when assembled, they are unstable.Don't buy these
