Calculator for Circular or Rounded Fire Pits or Fire Bowls How much fire glass will you need? To calculate the amount of fire pit glass needed to fill a circular fire pit, use the following equation: Diameter X Diameter X Depth, divided by 24 = pounds of fire glass needed. We recommend a minimum of 2” of fire glass depth for most installations. For example, a 25" diameter fire pit at the recommended 2” of fire glass depth: 25 X 25 X 2, divided by 24 = 52 lbs.

To calculate the amount of fire pit glass needed to fill a square or rectangular fire pit, use the following equation: Width X Length X Depth, divided by 19 = pounds of fire glass needed. We recommend a minimum of 2” of fire glass depth for most installations. For example, a 48" X 14" fire pit at the recommended 2” of fire glass depth: 48 X 14 X 2, divided by 19 = 70 lbs.

It looks spectacular honestly the cobalt blue is great and looks good with the flame on or off. I was disappointed that there wasn't more guidance on how much to order the one bag was plenty almost too much I can still get the cover over the fire burning area but just barely I'm going to have to return the second bag. The actual area where the glass is is approximately 7x22 inches. I could put another bag on top probably if I never wanted to put the cover on again. Be careful when you empty out the last bit of the bag there are lots of tiny little shards of glass. I would recommend definitely using gloves and maybe leave the last little bit in the bag so the tiny shards don't come out I ended up having to vacuum them up.

We bought these rocks to replace the volcanic rock we had in one of our current fire tables. This color mirrors the flicker of the flames and provides a really elegant look to any fire table for an elevated/expensive look! 10/10 would recommend, great value.

Does exactly what it says, looks exactly like the picture. Delivered on time. Did not have issues with size or needing to rinse. Left a single layer over the burner, no problem lighting. Could not be more pleased.

Very pleased with this product. We used the recommended amount of tempered glass for our fire pit which in this case is 30 lbs. Don't skimp on the amount as your fire pit will look unfinished. As you can see in the picture, the glass fills out the fire pit and makes for an attractive appearance. I like that there are many different colours to choose from to finish off your project. As other reviewers advised they are a little expensive but the results allow you to see a nice project.

Wonderful product and the colour is good. However, while pouring it into the fire bowl, the bottom of the bag broke getting a large amount of the product on the ground. I have a back, neck and shoulder injury and had to spend quite a bit of time cleaning this up which was painful! Not at all happy at all about that but otherwise the product is good.
