I should have seen the thickness. Definitely wouldn't use in a hard use environment. But if you have a safe space for a ruler like this. I mean its Starrett its great

This is the fourth Starrett scale I've purchased. The finish is durable and easy to read. This scale is a convenient length and is semi-flexible to follow most contours. In particular, it is graduated in 10ths and 100ths which is ideal for the type of work I do.Plus it is just a pleasure to own a quality tool.
