It bites, but I had to cut the old pully off when replacing the ancient engine. It probably goes without saying that none of the local stores had the size I needed, but Amazon deliver n three days. It fit perfectly and the chipper is back taking care of the yard. I did put some blue locktite on the set screw but have had no issues with the new part.

I bought three of these because they were very true, well made and precisely the size that i needed. The external size was great (exactly 4") and the shaft hole was a precise 3/4"
