I bought the NATO Mils version… works perfectly for me. The compact size and ease of use that attracts me most. Being used to the all metal M73 Prismatic and US Army issue Cammenga Lensatic compassess, it takes a getting use to draw up the compass bezel from the protective drawer case, especially when its not metal in contruction lest l might destroy the thing. Will see how it performs in the humid environment of Southeast Asia. Overall its a good buy.

I have returned this compass. The dial is calibrated in mils, not degrees. Since the website fails to mention this, I am submitting this review as a warning for others.Almost no-one wants a compass that reads in mils. Those that do, will look for one that explicitly states that the compass is in Mils. Since the page for this product makes no such statement, I can only assume that they are trying to trick purchasers.

Anders wie abgebildet bekommt man dir neue Version mit einer Plastikscheibe anstelle der abgebildet Kompassnadel. Und anstelle des abgebildeten Schraubenzieher's giebt es nur einen sehr dünnenes Stück Blech. Produkt geht zurück. Für den Preis ein No-go!
