Used to recover a seat in my 57, worked great but I foresee the center pin wearing out quickly. Felt the pin wearing as I used it but the pliers themselves are thicker than I thought they would be.

My first time using hog rings and I thought the rings would close in a tighter pattern.What I was really trying to find was a stainless ring that would crimp a very close connection around a bungee/ shock cord. These get the job done but it is a little fussy trying to close the end points of the hog rings. The first "tight" crimp leaves the end points crossed. Them you have to finesse the points flat or into the cord.All in all it seems like a decent tool and product for the money.
