Couldn’t be happier. I love it when I get something for a great deal and then it shows up to my house and to my surprise it’s even better than the photos and reviews. Super good deal for what you get! Photos speak for themselves! Everything is thriving, the lights seem to really work great. Holds humidity really well and overall just looks cool in my windowsill.

Well these are nice little starter packs but the lights appear to be lacking good amount of lumens for seedlings once germination is completed. No ability to utilize lights once domes are removed. That being said the value is good and easy to use. Compact and great way to get into the seedling starter craze if you are considering a small investment verses making big purchase.

I've only had these for a couple of weeks but so far I've had a good experience. They definitely keep the soil moist. And the moisture control vents on the top work well. The grow lights pop in the top so they are not going to fall off. I like that there is space inside for the seedlings to grow. The distance the light is from the soil is not adjustable but for this price range I think this is a good buy.

This product is very sturdy and definitely worth the price. The only thing that would be nice is if the lights were not connected, allowing up to use only one of the planters if necessary.

My seeds begin life in baggies, germinating nested in folds of damp paper towel. Once a root forms, I form a little hole in each pod and drop one seed in each pod in these planters.These planters are almost maintenance free. To begin, program the hours of operation for the lights for 1/2 day, set the vents cracked open a bit, fill the soil and drop your seeds in all but one. Using the empty, fill the bottom with water until the dirt is wet 1/2". After then you only need to check the water once in a while. The empty spot is the viewing and filler hole to make sure the dirt is always touching water.The domes are quite a bit taller than the old style black trays, but you are still supposed to take the domes off once the seedlings pop leaves out. I prefer to leave them grow in there for a while longer, with the vents all open to prevent mold. Otherwise, what is the point of getting them with lights installed?About the lights, they are the new bar style, with a LOT more LED's than the round vent style has.The timer has options to turn the LED bars on and off in pairs, so you don't need to use both the trays at once.These are a great solution for starting your plants out in a strong way.
