He puts his LEGO characters together and some going larger shelves and some smaller characters go on these.

Works great! I was able to fit about 190 characters together without any accessories. Its very sturdy and easy to put together (the hardest part is placing the silicone pads symmetrically). Very much worth what I paid since I plan to continue its use long term. Definitely will be purchasing more.

I got this for my older son who in addition to having lots of minifigs from various Lego kits, has often bought some figures separately. Until now we'd been displaying some on a shelf on a cut-down baseplate, but it always looked funny because it didn't utilize the height of the shelf at all. This product solves that by giving us two tiers and we end up using about 2/3 of the shelf height. It also looks a lot nicer. When I looked through the directions, I was puzzled why I got six connector pieces when the instructions clearly show only four. Well, the answer is in the tolerances. It turned out that two of them didn't fit very well. Two of them would fit in only one of the four slots. The others fit fine though, so there was no problem in the end.I like that you can take a plate out of the display. This makes it easier to set up the figures, especially if you're doing something more than standing them in a line.I chose the white because our shelves are dark and I thought that it would make the figures more visible. I think this was the right choice for us.

I got this item as a hail-mary attempt to solve the crisis of piles of minifigures everywhere, and lost accessories getting vacuumed up. Surprisingly it worked. My son, who is severely challenged at keeping organized, ended up loving the idea of the display stand for his zillions of Star Wars lego figures. He sets them up in a specific order and they are getting lost or needing to be picked up far less often.Initially I did not like how the base-plates were not attached, and come out freely. I was hoping it would be more solid for transportation. After some use though I see why the plates coming out is a "Pro" instead of a "con". It allows him to easily slide out one rectangle and grab a figure in the middle of the row, or rearrange or whatever, before dropping the rectangle back in.It's a neat feature that you can get more to make a larger stack as well... but I think for my purposes it will not be helpful, as stacking anywhere past 2 will likely make it more cumbersome and less easily managed by a small kid, especially when transporting it.

This Tabletop Stackable Minifigure Display Case is a solid way to display up to 72 minifigs, though I did have a few minor issues putting it together. Once assembled, it looks much better than displaying my minifigs on a baseplate—everything is organized and well-contained.I'd recommend placing it on shelving with a cover to keep the minifigs protected from dust, as the stand isn't overly wide but offers plenty of space for such an arrangement. The case also has enough room to spread out thicker minifigs or ones with accessories. While you might not fit all 72 minifigs if they have extras, it's nice not being locked into fixed positions like with other cases.
