Because there are measurements missing between the individual gauges, it is impossible to measure gaps of 7.x mm, 14.x mm, and 21.x mm. This looks like something designed by a young AI. I can't imagine a human making this mistake. Well, maybe a committee of intensely dedicated humans could do it.It's not suitable for the intended use.

I recognized the missing calibration between segments when I ordered but overall a fairly useful and quick tool for checking sizes.Overall workmanship is good but could benefit by having full calibration.Edge roughness from the blanking die indicates that the die may need sharpening. I'm a machinist with nearly 70 years of experience so careful dressing with a precision file brought the edges to a workable standard.Overall, a good tool for the price but urge maker to employ Continuous Product Improvement on the issues noted. :-)

This tool is great for aligning parts in a place that is cramped such as aligning chain and belt drive systems or for gapping small distances larger than what can be done with feeler gages or smaller than what can be done with a ruler accurately.

The measurements could very easily be shown in inches plus metric.

They really screwed up on the design. There is a gap between 7-8, 14-15 and 21-22mmHard to imagine someone designed this and could not count.Waste of money.
