I have used a great many of these filters for my hvlp sprayer. I have never had a clog since I started using them, including with acrylic latex with primer, and Emerald urethane trim paint. No spits, no clogs. No wasted time.

This is so important to your spray process. Get a good quality effective filter to strain the paint. That will save you so much time and aggravation!

You would think all paper and mesh paint filters are the same but they definately are not. I was able to filter 1/2 a gallon of paint and the filter stood up to the task. It didn’t fall apart, it wasn’t flimsy and the particulate was kept out that I wanted out.

It's a standard filtering strainer, but the sides are more sturdy than the "chain store " brands.
