WIDE COMPATIBILITY: Commonly found on class 3-8 trucks and equipment. (For use with Ram 3500/5500, for use with Chevrolet 3500/5500, for use with Ford F-350/550, for use with Isuzu NPR, for use with Kenworth, for use with Peterbilt, for use with Freightliner, for use with Mack, for use with Volvo, etc.). The 90150 works on straight and tapered king pins from 7/8” to 2 5/32”. Please note that the 90150 is not compatible with FL981 axles where the tie rod is cast to the spindle.
ENHANCED CAPABILITY: For specialized applications, the King Pin Press (part number 90150) can be paired with an adapter for Isuzu NPR and GMC/Chevrolet W-series trucks (part number 90151), or the Clearance Plate Adapter for 2 1/2 inch King Pins (part number 90153). Our 90150 was designed with a goal in mind: build the best king pin press possible that requires only one operator to use. We’ve optimized the end plates, manufacturing them out of high-grade steel into diamond shapes – drastically reducing the overall mass of the tool. Coming in at 75% less weight than our closest competitor, the results are huge savings in the tool’s overall weight.

Our king pin press includes three different forcing screw options, giving you the ability to service everything from 3/4 ton pickups up to Class 8 trucks. A shortened 1 1/4” forcing screw allows you to access king pins from the hardest to reach places and tightest wheel wells – even on busses. We’ve also included our three most popular tie rod end removers: 7/8”, 3/4”, and 20mm.

Application: Straight and tapered king pins from 7/8” to 2 5/32”. The King Pin Press also works with additional adaptors (sold separately) allowing you to service 2 ¼” straight/tapered king pins and the Isuzu NPR & GMC/Chevrolet W-Series axles.

Lighter is Better

In the process of engineering our King Pin Press, there was one thing we knew for sure; this thing has got to be lighter than the alternatives. To accomplish this, we shaved the end plates down into diamonds – that means big savings in the overall weight – and we did it without compromising the integrity of the tool. Also shaving down on the general mass of these plates was our decision to use two 5/8” bolts instead of one 7/8” bolt. More breathing room and less bulk in these weighty pieces mean only one operator is needed.

Do More With Less

We include three different forcing screw options to give you the ability to service everything from Class 8 Trucks down to ¾ ton pickups. A shortened 1 ¼” forcing screw allows you to access king pins from even the tightest wheel wells – that includes busses. Service more vehicles with only one tool? That’s more like it.

The tool is worth the money because of less down time of taking to a shop. Works very well and is made very well. The interchangeable insert to do smaller trucks like Isuzu’s is very nice.

I was so skeptical about buying this do to price but a job that was killing me took a few minutes with this tool. Obviously if you only have one vehicle it would not be a good purchase but if you have multiple vehicles with king pins then absolutely buy this, you won't regret it.
