This is drawing paper which is largely similar, what disguished this for me was the price. The paper is as good as any other drawing paper for a lower price.

I love this paper. Good variety. Sturdy but goes through the printer easily. Great for my pencils. Thick enough for gel pens. Note the size B5 JIS (there’s a setting to change the page size on the computer/printer,…….am a paper novice) ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I've been searching for a smooth toned paper for charcoal and chalk tonal work and this is the best I've found to date.Pros:- The papers are muted in color (not saturated) and have a tonal value ranging between 4.5 and 5.5 (black=1, white=10).- The surface is smooth, no deep texture or inlay. It's a little rougher than smooth newsprint.- The paper color is uniform and there are no colored threads in the surface , like the Strathmore grey and tan tonal papers (the threads annoys me).- The paper weight is good at 85lb, not too thin, not too thick.Cons:- I'm not sure if this is acid free.- The paper size is a little small, I which they made at least a 9" x 12" size, or larger.Overall, I highly recommend this paper for charcoal and chalk tone drawing.

Love that I get to sample all these beautiful colors at once learn my favourite quickly, also get the feel of the paper and my printer loves it.

Good paper for art and nicely toned, now that I got it I think that 7.2"X10" is a really small size sketch pad for art and I would get a bigger size next time.
