This fits under my sweet wanderer very well and keeps my head WAY warmer than my nobdoddys hat that I was using before. Visor could be bigger, but its alright, will knock it a point for that

Giving only 3 stars to this neoprene cap because even though my husband will be able to wear it to surf, he had to put in a good amount of time to customize it for his face.I ordered the size based on the instructions for measuring the circumference of the head and it fits fine there. The issue is the chin strap is designed for a very big chin. If you’re gonna dive under waves, there is a good chance the cap will come right off unless nature gifted you with the right features. My husband had to sew it to make the strap shorter. It should have been designed with more Velcro and the ability to tighten it further. Additionally it would have been better if the strap was narrower, at least for my husband’s head. Otherwise it’s a good cap.

I have ordered several wetsuit hoods that I found too tight to wear, and gave away. So, I knowingly ordered this neoprene cap a bit too large. The bottom of the size range for this XXL cap is .4" bigger than my head measurement. The main difficulty with those hoods was that the necks were practically impossible to pull over my head. I chose this XXL size on purpose, to avoid excessive tightness, but as delivered it was really too large for me. It's was wearable, and would have been comfortable, but if I had capsized water would have surged inside of it, and if I had tumbled in surf it might have been pulled off.So, I modified it to allow the strap to be pulled tighter to make the cap fit more snuggly. The strap widens too rapidly to allow that modification, so I trimmed the width with a scissors and moved the hook part of the velcro further up the strap. Now the cap fits well.I've no complaint with its original condition. It's my fault that I ordered a size too large. The cap is well made. It looks dorky, but that was predictable. I don't much like the visor. It's part of why the cap looks dorky, and it's too small to be effective, and is annoyingly close to my eyes. I might remove it and then wear a brimmed cap over this neoprene cap.

I recently picked up the Tontron 3mm Neoprene Watersports Cap for a series of cold-water activities, and it's been an absolute game-changer The fit is snug yet incredibly comfortable, thanks to the premium neoprene material. It's flexible enough that I hardly notice I'm wearing it, yet it keeps my head perfectly dry and warm. The built-in visor is a nice touch, shading my eyes from the sun without obstructing my view. Plus, the UV protection and defense against sea critters like lice and jellies give me that extra peace of mind while I'm out there enjoying the waves.Speaking of warmth, this cap really does the job. The inner fabric feels soft against my skin and dries quickly, preventing any heat loss even on the chilliest days. I was really impressed with how it maintained my body heat, allowing me to stay in the water for much longer periods.Durability-wise, this cap exceeds expectations. The high elasticity and excellent recovery fabric mean it's built to last, and the adhesive and blind seam connections hold up well, even after repeated use in saltwater conditions.I appreciate the full coverage it offers and the range of sizes available. It's great to see a product that caters to everyone, ensuring a perfect fit regardless of head size.If you're into kayaking, rafting, surfing, SUP, diving, or swimming in cooler conditions, I highly recommend the Tontron watersports cap. It's made my water activities much more enjoyable, keeping me warm and protected without compromising on comfort or performance. Dive in and get yours 🏄♂️❄️

Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o)I stumbled on these head and ear warming neoprene caps for watersports whilst looking for something else on Amazon. A chance to work out on my kayak during the cold season really appealed to me, and then some! This cap is very well made, beautifully sewn and made of water-repelling neoprene, and the warmth it gives is great! The adjustable chin strap connects to the opposite side with velcro (or hook and loop) to keep the cap on my head on windy days. In short, it's everything as described in the listing. So far, so good! ;o)However, I did find a drawback or two. I found the sizing chart to run on the small side-- a tad. Despite careful measuring, I found this cap to be a wee bit on the snug side for me. I'm making do right now, as it were. Where I'm located, there's lots of sun despite the cold, and the brim of this hat is... shall I say, on the brief side, that is, very short, so the bright sun isn't shielded from my eyes very much. Another couple of inches or more would make such a difference, in my book.Give this Tontron 3mm Neoprene Watersports Cap a try... I don't think you'll regret your purchase. Just give yourself a little room by going up a size; you can always tighten the strap for a better fit. ;o)***********************************************************May Your Year Be Warm, Cheery And Bright! ;o)Cheerio and Best of Luck in all your endeavors! Hopefully, this review was helpful.
