I bought this because I recently started riding western, and the western cinch I was using was rubbing my horse raw at the shoulders with every ride - a problem we never had with an English hunter girth.It was super easy to cut to the correct size, slid right over the cinch, and has stopped my horse from getting sores!I was afraid of it sliding around or not staying in place, but that has not been an issue. It's also easy to clean - throw it in the washing machine on a gentle cycle.

Thin, Cheap and Cheesy ~ Useless!! Not "Tough 1".Too wide for English girth, unraveled at seam when cut to size length. Thin slick and slippery, couldn't even use once! Tough 1 Fleece sold by JT International = Total waste of money!!!!

My Horses was getting cinch sores with an $80 girth. I was not going to buy another one. This was an awesome solution. It does get dirty quickly so I suggest either washing it once every couple months or replacing it. The only thing is I had to cut a hole where I attach the breast plate but other than that great purchase.

Was expecting a little more stretch to the fabric, it does not stretch AT ALL. And it doesn't absorb sweat, just gets kind of slick and icky. But it is better than having the neoprene next to the skin. I would spend a bit more next time and look for a natural fabric.
