Prologue works great but took me quite a bit of time to get it set up. It's a two-stage setup with Wi-Fi Wi-Fi from unit and Wi-Fi to my router. But I finally got it. I thought for a second it wasn't going to work but then bingo. It came alive and I got to say the picture is great. Even at night it's very very clear. I would recommend for the price. Quality is great

I’m really happy with this camera! Bought it for kids room . The video quality is excellent, with clear images both during the day and at night. The night vision works well, so I can check on my kids without disturbing their sleep. The audio is also very clear, allowing me to hear even the slightest sounds.The connection is stable, and the range is impressive—I can move around the house without losing signal. I also love the additional features like two-way audio, temperature monitoring, and motion detection. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can always keep an eye on kidsSetup was quick and easy, and the app is user-friendly. Overall, this is a fantastic monitor with great features and reliability. For the price (I bought the 2-pack on sale) they're very good.NOTE, however, that the "wall mount" is NOT a wall mount - it works for a shelf, or ceiling mount, as you can invert the view 180 degrees. Wall mount means the camera is sideways, which requires a 90 degree rotation of the picture. The camera does NOT support this. So, NO wall mount. If you want to mount on a wall, you'll have to make a little bracket (shelf) to hold it.The picture is great, night mode is acceptable. Motion sensor works well, recording when vehicles pass by on the road, which is approx 70 feet away from the camera location.The supplied picture is in "night mode", looking through a window from the inside of the house.Using the RTSP stream works well. I use it with VLC player, but it should work fine with any RTSP compatible viewer/player.I have only had it running for a day, so I cannot comment yet on how long it will last or if it will require periodic reboots to keep it running.

I got Tapo after a very quick research for an affordable but feature rich security camera. It came on top of all reviews I've seen for a very good reason. No camera in this price range comes even close to its quality and versatility and other branded ones are much more expensive. Setup was a breeze and the phone app is stable, easy to use and has all the features of my Ring camera, and then some. Even the cloud recording option is affordable, although you can use the camera just fine with a MicroSD card or even without it if you don't need any recording.Pros:- Price. Enough said.- Easy to install and set up. I had it up and running in a couple of minutes.- Stable and user friendly software.- Ceiling or shelf installation.- Pan, tilt, patrol, panorama, night vision...- Motion detection with detection zones- Very good picture, photo and video recording- Two way voice communication- Siren- It even looks like a serious piece of equipment, and it is :)Cons (not really, more like a wish list):- No USB power supply option- No power over Ethernet option- Not for outdoor use

1. Ease of use, only took me 10 mins to set-up and get started with the unit.2. Monitoring features are 4/5 Stars, there’s a delay on movement detection. Mic works but its not the best quality. Expected for the price range. It would’ve been great if the Unit is able to move in the direction of the object as the mechanism is ready to receive from if the software is available. Call feature available, for multiple installed Units, not sure how this will work though. Lots of other features for the price.3. Picture/Video quality is 5/5 Stars, image is very clearly captured even on pitch black environment.4. Mobile APP “Tapo” is well thought and wide range of integration with TP-link products.5. Affordability to quality is 5/5 StarsI don’t intend to use the unit out-doors so I’ll skip the review for durability for out-door use.Overall I love this Cam monitor unit & will give it 5 stars!

Easy to use and app is understandable enough. Camera functions well and rotates 360. On the app, you can choose what mode to put in on if youre sleeping or away etc. So it can listen and detect movement then record it, but it doesn't capture the start of it 100% of the time. Camera movement is a little slow and when it detects movement the camera doesn't automatically follow the subject. It can detect people and large movement well, but if youre looking to see very small movement then it's not guaranteed. I couldn't find a record button to record whenever I want on the app and it is a little tedious trying to look for a specific video in everyday of the calendar. I do like the option for privacy mode, which you can click on the app and choose to shut the camera off and turn to a direction/angle you choose. It's small and sturdy enough that it does basic job well.
