the glass and the holder just fell out when I opened the compass. I had not choice but to try and fix it myself because it was for my grandsons 1st communion Sunday, June 4th. I had no time to return it so i did get it back together and had to crazy glue the glass and holder back into the compass. So ...... yes, I was disappointed and upset and hope the crazy glue holds for my grandson. AND IT DID NOT HOLD !!!!I have not ever had trouble before, but this was the worst because we had no time to try and rectify the problem. It arrived the following afternoon and just in time for my grandson's First Communion the next day - a nice addition to the monetary gift I gave him. The antique look and the quote from the Bible was perfect.

I gifted this compass for a first communion. Unfortunately it arrived in pieces. Very disappointed!My nephew loved the compass, so I’ll order a replacement. Hopefully the replacement will arrive in one piece.

The compas is great. Only problem is that it's actually not functional. Is there a way it can be replaced or returned ?
