These are nice pliers, but definitely overpriced for what they are. They also took about 3 weeks to arrive.

Beautifully finished pliers with precisely fitting tips. My only complaint is that the grips are a fairly hard plastic which even though it is textured is not very grippy and feels a little slippery compared to other plier grips.

I own, maintain, & perform small-medium renovations on 6 rental properties. Japanese & German tools are a pleasure to use & make my days so much less frustrating, so nearly all of my primary tools are Japanese or German. The function, machining, fit, & finish are leagues ahead of most of the stuff in a typical US big box store, only the higher end brands like Milwaukee even compete without going to the tool truck & getting your wallet disintegrated (not worth it). Big box & harbor freight tools work fine, but they often lack that extra thought in the design & extra care in manufacture found in premium tools like Vessel & Knipex. These pliers are great at what they do, sliding into narrow gaps. They're tapered in all 4 directions, rather than just 2 directions. Makes a huge difference compared to normal "long nose" or "needle nose" pliers.Just today I used them to slide a few plastic washers behind some light switch screws to shim them out level with the other switches. Wouldn't be possible with the much girthier needle nose/long nose typical pliers shape. These stay in my belt pouch alongside my milwaukee 7-in-1 electrician pliers, vessel 3 speed screwdriver, Olfa knife, titan prybar, spring punch with hammer end, vessel insulated flathead, voltage detector, & milwaukee 10ft led tape measure. If a job calls for it, I swap stuff out to bring in knipex pliers wrench, cobras, or klein reversible nut drivers, but I always keep these king pliers handy, they don't take up much space & are pretty light so I never remove them from my belt pouch for weight. I find a new use for them literally every day.Only consideration is sometimes I wish I had the bent version for reaching behind stuff, I am going to grab those & compare.

I’m rarely compelled to write reviews but these deserve it. As others said, these are great quality for the price. Spring works well and holds in place. The nose is machined well and all gaps are tight. Made in Japan beats other manufacturers at this price point too. Well done Tsunoda!

I tend to be a pliers "enthusiast" and have bought way more than I'd like to admit. I got these because Knipex (generally my favorite band for pliers) doesn't seem to make a set of needle nose this size/shape with textured/serrated grips at the end like these have. I paid $18 for these and I consider that a steal. They could easily slap a Snap On or Knipex label on these and charge $35+ and no one would bat an eye. The quality you get for the price you pay is just phenomenal. The only thing that I don't absolutely love on these pliers are the grips, but they are by no means bad either, just have used better. But the functionality/smoothness/alignment is top notch. Someone stole all my pliers recently and these were one of the first pairs I re-bought, that's how highly I think of these and I had pliers from Knipex, Klein, Gearwrench, Tekton, Felo, Whia, ect. Really underrated brand, get them before they shoot up in price.
