As a selfie stick, it can hold a phone okay, but I'm not sure about my camera. I have a Nikon Z30 which isn't terribly heavy, but if I want to use it as a selfie stick, it feels it's slightly too heavy. Mounted as a tripod, it supports it fine. BUT, it doesn't extend too far. Be sure to read all details.What is also misleading, is that there is no clip for mobile phones. It supports one fine, but you'll need to buy a clip separately.I think I'll use this as a tripod for my webcam, but I'm going to buy something else as a stronger and longer selfie stick.Additionally... if using as a tripod for my Nikon, I'm not sure if the extension is slowly going to slide down. It doesn't feel quite tight enough.This is... okay, but not great.

Love this little tripod. I have two of them now. One for my camera and another for my field monitor when doing multi-cam live streams. Durable, quick and easy to use, packs away nice and small.

The ulunzi tripod selfie stick has been fantastic to use and I highly recommend it. The item is really good quality. The extendable stick is sturdy and extends and retracts easily. I can see it lasting a long time. The camera screw mount adapter is excellent quality. The screw has clean threads that easily connects to camera or adapter and the base area is large and a good support area for your camera. There are no wobbles or loose connections. The tripod base is also sturdy, and when folded in creates a good handle to hold that is comfortable. Excellent design. The medium length extension is not huge, but enough to get a camera a nice distance away. Of course the longer the extension, the heavier the camera rig is to your hand. At full length I found it ok , but gets heavy over longer periods of 10 minutes or so. Of course, this is a result of the physics of the camera size vs my hand strength, but good to be aware of. A cheaper flimsy stick may be easier on the wrist at those times, but if I only have one stick with me I would prefer the versatility of the ulunzi. I might buy all 3 ulunzi length options to have ready for different situations.

Very handy little tripod and the extension great for selfies. The legs and hinges are a light duty plastic so there is a bit of wobble if you are taking a long exposure. Overall, a decent little phone tripod.
