Until I got this I have been using wooden pallets to stack my firewood on and driving posts at the ends to keep the stack in place. This unit accepts 2X4 lumber and comes with the screws to tie it together.I used 5 2 X4 X 8' pieces with the 5th going across the back at the top for extra strength.I am moving my fire wood to inside one of those portable tarp style garages and this will work out well for 1 face cord of wood. The bottom 2 x4 keeps the wood off of the ground.I will likely order more to fill the space.Recommended

We burn firewood as our main source of heat. Air wood storage is a stacked to the ceiling and there is an overflow. I didn't want just a pile of wood in the middle of the yard. These brackets and a bit of lumber make for a very tidy pile. You can make it to whatever length you need depending on the length of your lumber. I was able to get a cover for a different rack and I just cut the lumber so that the stack fits this particular cover it's absolutely perfect it looks neat and tidy and I'm not embarrassed about the mess of my yard. Material itself is sturdy enough for its intended purpose.

Not functional. I am a 160lb woman and I can bend these brackets with my own strength. There is absolutely no way these brackets will hold even half a cord of wood! I don’t understand how they can market this as functional. The only way these brackets will work is if spend $300 on lumber and build a frame around the brackets to help support it.
