Round, like a section of a cylinder. Smoothly textured, neither glossy nor coarse. Aluminum, like the dreams of Steve Jobs. It's a glorious, magnificent knob, and it comes extremely close to matching the hue of the existing console it now serves, standing forth mightily like a knobby knob of knobdom!
