DO NOT BUY - this is an item that should have been recalled due to fire risk. People think that victron is a great brand but they're actually a horrible company to deal. There's nobody to call, you have to deal with their dealers who put through a warranty claim which takes weeks to hear back and then they only replace these defective units with the same units and you have to pay for shipping in both ways ! The newer serial number versions have been tested out by many people whose rigs were almost burnt down by this item the first time and they also produce just as much heat!! what a joke! Complete fire risk!

Producto, como todo lo victron, de muy buena calidad. Y con la oferta que había salió a muy buen precio.Al no ser isolated la masa es común. Como en cualquier coche. Para instalaciones muy complejas se podría separar la masa comprando el isolated pero es más caro y no es necesario

I have a campervan and I was trying to use this product to charge my batteries with my alternator.It worked for a week or so and then stopped.

Easy to install and to configure, works as expected, so I'm happy with it. Two negative points often come up in the comments, so here's my point of view on them.1) The Bluetooth connection has a very limited distance range. True, but it's a non-issue since the primary use of the Victron app for the charger is to configure the device. Once done, it is most likely you'll never use the app again.2) Device gets hot. I have yet to acknowledge that, but I didn't take an chance, so I added 2 small 12 V fans found on Amazon (see pictures). But I have hints that overheating issues are most likely because the charger is not properly installed. Not installing the charger in a vertical position in a small enclosure is a bad idea, as I saw in some DIY videos on youtube.
