This shoulder rest is the most comfortable and stable one I have found yet. It won't be helpful for someone with a long neck because the screws are too short, but for a short neck it is perfect. The design is also slightly different from the others with the curve designed to cup around the shoulder. I am very happy with it.

This shoulder rest curves the opposite way compare to other shoulder rests on the market. The curve part comes closer to the neck and locates right underneath of the chin rest. This design makes it a comfortable shoulder rest that holds the violin in place nicely, doesn’t slide off.The deal breaker for me is the screws being too short. It simply did not offering enough height for my neck. I had to return it. I wish they come with longer screws, or make it a generic size so that the kun screws can fit. This shoulder rest will work well for someone with a short neck.

The shoulder rest I received is not the same as pictured but of a solid singular construction. It is easily adjustable to fit my needs when practicing the violin.
