J'ai reçu ce dispositif pour l'éclairage de ma chambre : je suis très satisfait de l'absence total de bruit, de l'absence total de scintillements, et de la prise USB qui est très pratique.Le seul petit souci à mon goût : il vient sans cache d'encastrement, et le "On / Off" est associé à une LED bleue / coupe le chargement USB. C'est un peu dommage : on peut avoir envie de couper la lumière et de charger son téléphone pendant la nuit sans avoir une LED bleue qui continue d'éclairer.

Be carefull when using. Had an issue with the dimmer and I tried to wire it differently and the condensor exploded. Also does not dim like the other one they sell (the one with two dimmer)

The dimmer uses PWM to change light output, as most will do. It operates at 16KHz from a couple of percent time ON to close to100% time ON. At 16KHz, you won't see the flicker.There is almost no lost, as there are no diodes inside to prevent reverse polarity, which is good, there is no loss, and bad, don't wire it backward.I mentioned almost no lost, there is actually a 0.1V lost as full power won't bring you to 100% time ON, but rather like 98% on and a small off, you won't notice the difference.Overall, a good choice.

Ordered these for use with a set of low voltage LED strip lights. The switches feel good and solid, rotary works well and the click on/off function is also nice. They also come with a cosmetic cover plate for mounting flush into a wall.If course with any of these you're going to get one of two things: a specialty connector or bare wires to connect according to your setup. These have a specific connector so either check what you're connecting or get ready to snip and rewire.

I only gave this 4 instead of 5 for a small nitpick of mine since these devices work and do their job properly. My nitpick is that the rotary feel doesnt feel the best. If this doesnt bother you then you'll be very happy with these!

I like that it has a real off switch at the zero end. So power is really disconnected when off.The lowest end of the range is not as dim as I would have expected with the LED string I tried it with. Maybe about 50%.From 50% to 100% the control was smooth and the lights responded. This did correspond to an average current difference of almost 10 to 1. So there is plenty of power savings at the low end. It is interesting that the LEDs put out a lot of light at one tenth of the average power. That would be awesome in boats, RVs and campers wanting to save battery life when you would be quite happy with less light.Be careful that you have the right kind of LEDs. They do have to be a dimmable type. Incandescent lamps will all work fine.Wiring instructions and a nice little panel you can use are provided.I have seen lower pricing, but perhaps not with quick delivery.
