Really nice reins. There were thicker than I thought but I really like them. There on the short side so if your horse has a longer neck maybe take this into consideration. Overall I do like these and they feel good with a bit of weight to them.

I bought two Weaver barrel reins. I used a pair before and I though I’d give them a go on my tack set. I am going to review both pairs even though I only bought one of these black ones.It took about 1.5 months to get these. Not a big deal considering the pandemic. They are lazily made. The paracord is stiff and sticky. The weave is so loose you can see gaps through it. This also causes the rein to be too bulky and uncomfortable for gripping.The second pair I got were pretty well perfect. They were soft and supple to move and woven tight. None of the stickiness. Unfortunately, one side of the rein is several inches shorter than the other. So it was too short to use on my horse. Maybe good pony reins?Overall not very pleased with the brand. But I guess thats what you get for $20 reins. The quality of the reins may just be luck of the draw. Keep that in mind when ordering.

These reins are great. My only Complaint is that the ends were awful, they were frayed, and had some weird red stuff on them. I cut the red stuff off (It was hard and wouldn't wash or peel off), and burned the ends with a match. Now they are perfectly fine, and I use them almost daily. Great for doin Barrels, or just ridin!!!!!!!!
