Too small, too thick and the rivets are exposing metal points. The end of the halter is rough and a horse could get injured if they rub their eye on the end and the rivets.

We don't leave halters on when our horses and donkeys are in pastures. During really bad weather when we are taking everyone to their stalls, this is a quick way to gather and not scramble to figure out whose halter belongs to whom.

We had to make it smaller when our baby steer was younger. Now he is growing into it.Very durable.

I ordered a leather neck strap,but received nylon. Unacceptable.

I ordered a 38", and it's actually 32" despite the tag saying 38".It's not usable to be because of the size, but it looks very well made. If it were the correct size, I think I'd really like it.
