The zipper was a bit wonky but for the price this is a nice case/bag for a carbine. I bought it to try with a Rossi 92 carbine and I just didn't like the way it fit. Levergun shape wasn't right for the case.

OK- I WAS REALLY SHOCKED AT HOW GOOD THIS REPRO M1 CARBINE CARRY CASE WAS ON FIRST INSPECTION- EXCELLENT CLOTH MATERIALS WITH EXCELLENT NEAR MILITARY GRADE HEAVY STITCHING, AND A SUPERB HEAVY GRADE ZIPPER.... THEY WENT TO TO ALL THIS ROUBLE TO MAKE A REALLY GOOD PRODUCT... AND THEN USED CHEAP BLACK PLASTIC ADJUSTABLE SLING PARTS- INSTEAD OF BLACK PAINTED METAL OR BRASS. SO- IF YOU PLAN TO USE THIS BAG AND BRING TO RANGE- CARRY OVER YOUR SHOULDER ON ITS SLING- I WOULD EXPECT THESE TO SNAP/BREAK- IN PARTICULAR ON VERY HOT OR COLD DAYS... IT'S A MAJOR WEAK POINT: THAT SAID- THE PRICE IS GREAT- AND I'LL BE LOOKING FOR METAL OR BRASS REPLACEMENTS FOR THESE TWO PARTS- GOOD FOR HOME STORAGE AS IS. WHAT A SHAME: TO SAVE LITERALLY A FEW PENNIES THEY TOOK THIS ROUTE - ON AN OTHERWISE A SOLID 5-STAR PRODUCT-
