Used these spotlights to light up a 20x36 pictures above a hutch. I was able to place the spotlights on the top of the hutch about 15" away from the wall to give the proper angle for lighting. You might get away with sticking them on the ceiling for the same effect, but the top of the hutch mostly hid the lights so I went with that.Only used 3 of the 4 lights to get even light across the whole picture. Will probably use the last light on some other small lighting project. Didn't bother with the remote. Instead, plugged it into a foot switch. Easier, and I don't have to remember where I put another remote.

Unobtrusive but powerful light, perfect to highlight artwork or geodes. 4 pack came with a dimmer switch, and each light comes with a generous amount of cord to make placement easy. Fast service and great product.
