These have a slight wobble to them, which means any countersink you cut with them has a tendency to "star". However, slow speed, sufficient tool pressure and a little patience will let it cut and leave good enough a finish in steel plate. Just don't be in a hurry

Works well in wood would not recommend using on metal.
