These pots are a nice size for starting seedlings and growing them on for a year or two. They are sturdy, deep enough to develop a root system, and a convenient size. Perfect for what I needed.

These are a good training pot for bonsai. The drainage and wire holes are there. They were a tad smaller than the description, but it depends on where you measure, right? Anyway, I have used several and they didn't break from wire pressure, are sturdy, and I will get a lot of use from them. I may try to see if they have a size a little bigger than these, but they are good for smaller bonsai starts.

The pots are a sturdy hard plastic. They will fade a bit if used outside and exposed to UV radiation from the sun, but that's to be expected from a plastic pot and acceptable to me. If it's not acceptable to you, buy ceramic or mica pots instead.I planted Ficus religiosa and Ficus microcarpa in these pots and they're growing like mad. The drainage is excellent, the shape is good for optimal soil aeration, and there's even lots of extra holes around the edges of the bottom of each pot for wiring bonsai trees into place. I absolutely got my money's worth, and I anticipate that I will buy more again in the future as I grow my collection of trees.
