I used my watering bulbs for the first time last night, when I checked my plants this morning there was a bit of water on the floor and the self-watering pot was full of water so it overflowed. Will this happen all the time ?? or was it because the soil was too dry?HelpJessica

Beautiful but fragile. I found they were too long for my moss poles. Or perhaps it's a learning curve, and I just haven't figured it out yet. I'll keep trying to figure out the best way to use them.

habe diese Art der Bewässerung getestet, da ich Probleme mit Trauermücken in der Erde hatte. Sie sehen gut aus, lassen sich leicht befüllen (von oben einfach Wasser einfüllen, ohne dass man sie aus der Erde nehmen muss). Wenn sie mit der Zeit verkalken kommen sie in den Geschirrspüler und danach sind sie wieder ganz klar. Kann ich nur empfehlen, würde ich wieder kaufen.

The opening on the top is perfect so you dont have to take it out every time, yes water can go fast, you need to have a little bit of soil inside the tip so i lt doesnt go fast, anyway it is someting very usefull to never have mold again on the soil, i use it for my carrots pot because they need deep watering to grow better

I needed to bottom water plants due to fungus gnats. I shoved cotton down to the tip to stop the dirt from clogging the opening. I've heard of others wrapping cheese cloth with a rubberband around the end to prevent the dirt getting in. But as soon as you pull it out the dirt the cloth comes off. If you want to slow down the water release you would have to add more cotton or some other material. For the price it was worth it to me.
