Your cart is empty. How to grow okra:
Okra is a vegetable in hot weather. Okra seeds are hard. Soak them in water overnight, then sow to speed up germination. The seeds are spaced about 6 inches apart and about 1 / 2 inch apart in the middle of the row, and thin seedlings are planted at the recommended intervals, or plant groups with two or three seeds and one seed are thinned at the recommended final interval.
Transplant: Transplant when there are at least two true leaves.
Soil: Full of sunlight in neutral, abundant, well-drained soil.
Temperature: When the night temperature is kept above 50°, the growth is best.
Additional care: Okra is very resistant to clay and high temperatures.

I planted these seeds but didn’t get okra. I did a Google search on the buds and it seems to be some sort of hibiscus flower, which is in the same family as okra, but it is not producing any okra. In the first picture, you see the leaves and flower buds from this plant, and in the second picture, you see the leaves and okra from my real okra plants. They are clearly two different plants.Update: after many months, my plant finally produced big , beautiful hibiscus flowers. They are stunning and I wish the growing season were longer so I can continue to enjoy them. I can now confirm that these seeds are NOT okra but hibiscus.

A reviewer said that the plants look different from all other okra plants. That's true. In my case the plants kept growing taller and will not bear fruits. I gave 1 stars just for the plants growing taller otherwise, zero. Disappointed.

I recently purchased seeds from this seller on Amazon, and unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed with the results. Despite following proper planting procedures, none of the seeds sprouted. Here are the issues I encountered:Zero germination: Not a single seed showed any signs of life.I tried different methods, including indoor and outdoor planting, but the outcome remained the same. The seeds appeared healthy upon arrival, but their lack of viability suggests poor quality. It’s frustrating to invest time and effort in planting, only to see no results. I would like to request the seller to return my money back. Thanks
